SQL Server - Business Intelligence
Does anyone have any real world experience of utilising SQL Server - Business Intelligence software?  I am particulary interested in seeing how the BI suite stacks up against the new Oracle BI suite of tools. Any feedback is very welcome.

Yes,  we have been using Microsoft Analysis Services and ProClarity (now Microsoft) Analytics server for about five years as one of our BI tools,  we are currently upgrading to Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and looking at moving to PerformancePoint as the delivery platform,  we did look at the Oracle BI solution, but that was sometime ago.

Thanks.  Would you say that you are happy with the Microsoft BI product suite, and that it does exactly what you need it to do?  If you are using other BI tools, how do they compare.  I appreciate, that, at the end of the day it is the analyst that delivers the real value.  However, delivering a single cost effective BI solution across a number of academic and support is an interesting challenge.  Good to hear how others are getting on and in particular, successes and failures with BI projects!

Yes,  we are happy with the Microsoft BI product suite, productivity is a good point,  you can be up and running quite quickly,  we use it in conjunction with standard reporting technologies.
